Hello Namaste Keshavtar!

I was born as per Nepali calendar (patro) on Satueday the 25th of Ashoj 2021 which is 10th of October 2064 in English in Naya Gaun ward no 2.  Unfortunately I do not know my mother they say she died when I was just 11 months old.  I grew up in a large families with care of grand parents.

The children earlier then my age from my village used to go to Rumsi (nearly two hours walk) as their first school.  I was lucky to be one of the first badge to start from Naya Gaun School (Amar Jyoti).  Our founder teacher was Mr. Rajendra Singh Thapa  originally from Khudi Gaun a big hill located across Damauli Bazaar. People used to call him TAUKE MASTER instead of Head Sir.  I still remember the first he turned up at the school we all had ran away.  He then followed us to one corner on the way. I was the one who dared to help him as he requested took him to the head of village whom we used to call MUKHIYA BAJE.

After completing the 3rd standard I moved to this Keshavtar School that must be some times in 1976 / 1977 in to join the 4th standard.  This school too was newly started as the first Middle School in this area. The first year we spent in a makeshift room made of chest nut leaves & bamboo (katus ko pat ko jhupro).  Every day during the half break we had to rush to a deserted village call BEL THUNKI in order to bring bricks for building the school.......More to follow......
