Hi & welcome to my profile page:) I joined Herbalife as an Independent Distributor in May 2002. Prior to this I had been working in the hair dressing industry as a Key Accounts Manager, but I was having to travel away from home each week & often I wouldn't see my wife & children for 4-5 days at a time. Besides that I always felt restricted as an employee & limited in how far I could grow. Their was a ceiling to how much I could earn & we never really got ahead financially. I new their must be a better way, & circumstances with my wife's health caused me to seek out an opportunity where I could be nearer to home whilst still being able to provide for my family. I was reading a book on how to reach financial freedom & it was suggested that the best path was through starting a Home Based Business. You could start this part time without risking your income, whilst patiently allowing your part time Home Business to grow as you learn the new skills required for it's success.

This made a lot of sence to me because I had tried my hand at running a more traditional business back in 1996, however because it was a retail business, it needed me to work full time. This meant that I needed it to produce an income faster than the business could grow, plus I still felt trapped because I was stuck in one place 6 often 7 days a week, with no timf freedom. That passion always come from feeling that you are engaged in something with a real sence of purpose, so when I read the Mark Hughes story & the mission he developed for Herbalife, I was inspired in knowing that through joining Herbalife, I would be able to not only for fill my own personal dreams & aspirations, but I would be doing so only by doing good for others in the process. That excited me & once I understood that their was no limit to what could be achieved I just new that Herbalife I come into my life for a very good reason. It really was a surprise to me & a bonus when I realised that I could start a home business like Herbalife with no financial risk. When I enquired & found out that their was a money back guarantee on the starter pack & products, this immediatly told me that this was a company that really truely beleived in it's products & it's opportunity. The first thing I did after I received my business pack was too start using the Herbalife products. I understood that in life everything stems from the seed you first plant & with Herbalife it's success was based on the product results people were getting. So I needed to be a product lover myself & I could only do that if I new how good these products really were from personal experience! I started taking the products & with 24 hrs I could feel that my body was starting to respond. I felt I had more energy & now I understand that our bodies respond in large to the fuel we feed it & nutrition plays a vital role for each & every one of us. 5 days after I started I could feel that I was losing the excess body fat that I had carried for some 10 years & I that made me feel even better:) People started to notice & I excitedly told them what I had discovered & one by one my client base began to grow.
